With subject matter drawn from a hat, my assignment was to design, sculpt in WED clay, mold in Ultracal, slip cast in latex, and paint an ichthyoid monster in three weeks. Painted using brushes, sponges, and airbrush.

Sprite figure in its jar, with its plaster mold shell at right. Sculpted in plasticine clay, molded with silicone and plaster, and painted over 2 classes.

Silicone Burn wound
Made for NYU's Intro Special FX class

Using silicone putty, my assignment was to sculpt a deep burn wound on a subject's hand, blending the edges into the skin, and subsequently paint and detail the sculpt with blood, pus, and gore. Sculpted & painted over 2 hours.

Made for various foam latex appliances. Ultracal/Hydrocal mixed with burlap, with positives cast off of alginate and plaster molds.
